 What is worse than dry skin is chapped, dry lips. Many of us are tired of those pale colorless lips which make us look sick & dead inside. A little color is all we desire but those expensive lipsticks always let us down! And if you have dry lips like mine, those Matte Lipsticks make you want to throw them away. Isn't it annoying?

I have listed a few of the best Budget Lip Products which if I knew earlier, my life would have been so much better.

1. Lakme Lip Love Chapstick SPF 15

I came across this best friend during lockdown when I had nowhere to go but wanted my lips to feel moisturized. This budget lip balm keeps my lips feeling hydrated and makes my face look fresh as it leaves a beautiful tint. AND IT LASTS LONG! I have been using this for a year and am on my second one now. It comes in a variety of shades out of which my personal favourite is Cherry!

2. The Face Shop Water Fit Lip Tint

I wish I knew this product before. This product is heavenly and has literally solved all my natural make up related issues. I have been using it for 3 years now as a lip and cheek stain. I cannot stress this enough but you really really need this product. It stays on for upto 8 hours & is slowly gaining pace. I see most of the bloggers using different tints but this one is in BUDGET. It comes in a few shades, I recommend going for Picnic Red or Red Signal as it is less pigmented and can be applied on cheeks. It leaves a beautiful natural color with a mild shine.

3. Nykaa So Matte! Mini Lipstick

These are the only lipsticks in my make up bag. I own three shades-Naughty Nude, Rusty Pink & Wine and have been relying on them for several years now. Though it's not that long lasting and a bit transferable, but it doesn't make my lips chapped and is very moisturising with easy application. The packaging looks great but the magnetic cap keeps on removing, so I recommend dedicating one small pocket or a tiny pouch to this product. Try a mini one to find that perfect color for you!

PRO TIP: For best long lasting results, use nykaa lipstick over the face shop lip tint and it can stay on for an entire day. You won't even need to go for a touch up after your lunch. TRUST ME! You’ve hit a jackpot tip.

4. Nykaa Matte-ilicious Lip Crayon Lipstick

I came across this product once when we were testing some products in my office and this lipstick did not come off for the entire day! And I’m quite a food hogger. It works just like those Matte Lipsticks but without the drying effect. It keeps my lips feeling smooth but is transferable and that is its only drawback. I stopped wearing it for a while due to COVID-19 as it kept transferring to my mask and then to my face making me look like a monkey and I had a hard time removing it as it doesn't come off easily. So waiting for the pandemic to end for me to wear my personal favourite- Call it Scarlet.
